State Emergency Services handled over five hundred requests for assistance across the area, mainly for building damage but also for fallen timber and flooding.

At one point on Sunday, more than twenty-eight thousand energy customers in Victoria were lacking electricity.

Moist weather were predicted to continue along large portions of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a weather pattern continued to pull in damp air against the coastal areas.

Tomorrow was forecast to be the most rainy day, with ongoing storm activity expected across multiple regions of both areas.

Medical authorities alerted that there was an higher risk of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, particularly given the current weather patterns.
